I bought two bottles hoping it would last a while only to find out that what was sent to me is so old that there is no way I can use it up in just 4 months. Other stores would have already put this on clearance and clearly state the expiration date.

The Lugol’s Iodine you mentioned is not an old product—quite the opposite. We compound fresh batches on a regular basis.
As part of our commitment to safety and quality, we follow the guidelines set by the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA). These standards require that all compounded products carry a 6-month expiration date, even if the raw materials used have a shelf life of over two years. This helps us ensure that everything we provide is as fresh and effective as possible for your health and safety.

Finlandia’s Lugol’s Iodine is an excellent product and good value for money. I take it internally and use it for washing vegetables. Lugol’s has many health benefits. Among other benefits it lightens mood and increases energy.
