Delicately deluxe, Curelle's Unscented Body Wash provides gentle, scent & solvent free cleansing for skin. Pleasingly plant-sourced, skin soothing, emollient ingredients biodegrade and are: gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian, and do not contain carcinogenic, estrogenic or mutagenic ingredients or chemicals. Contains no diethylene glycol.
As with all Curelle products, this contains only what it needs to work and be effective. A basic liquid cleanser contains water, surfactant, preservative and optionally a thickener and a weak acid to adjust pH; a good cleanser should also contain a skin conditioning ingredient to protect skin while cleansing.
This checks all the boxes for a good cleanser: it contains decyl polyglucose as the main surfactant; it is very mild and plant derived. It also contains sodium cocoyl oat amino acids as a mild surfactant that aids in cleansing the skin, as well as providing conditioning. Sucrose cocoate is an emollient with mild surfactant properties. It contains xanthan gum as an emulsion stabilizer and thickener, and citric acid to adjust pH.
