Finlandia Returns & Refunds Policy
At Finlandia Pharmacy & Natural Health Centre, your health, safety, and product integrity come first. Because we operate as a licensed pharmacy and integrative health center, our return policy applies equally to both in‑store and online purchases and is intentionally structured to protect patients, customers, and the broader community.
This policy is designed to provide clarity, consistency, and fairness while ensuring that products distributed for health purposes maintain their safety, quality, and chain of custody.
Please review the policy carefully before completing a purchase.
1. General Return Eligibility
§ A valid original receipt is required for all returns or exchanges.
§ For members, a receipt lookup may be available.
§ Valid photo ID may be required to process returns.
2. Return Window
§ Eligible items may be returned within 7 days of purchase.
§ Returns requested after this period may not be accepted.
3. Condition of Items
To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be:
§ Unopened
§ Unused
§ In original, sealed, resalable packaging
Items that are opened, damaged, tampered with, or not in resalable condition are not eligible for return or exchange.
Once a supplement or health product has been opened, it is considered final sale due to health, safety, and quality-control standards.
4. Refund Method
§ Approved returns will be refunded to the original method of payment or exchanged for the same product, at Finlandia’s discretion.
§ In some cases, store credit may be offered in lieu of a refund.
§ Shipping fees are non-refundable (for online orders).
5. Supplements & Health Products – Special Conditions
Due to regulatory, safety, and chain-of-custody requirements:
§ Supplements are returnable only if unopened and sealed.
§ Manufacturer defects for supplements are exchange-only and must be reported within 7 days of purchase.
§ Opened supplements are not eligible for refund or exchange, even if partially used.
6. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
§ Prescription medications
§ Special-order items, including custom herbal tinctures
§ Clearance, final sale, or As-Is merchandise
§ Personal care & cosmetic products, including skin, hair, oral, nail, eye, hygiene, and cosmetic items, even if suspected of being the cause of a skin allergy
§ Homeopathic remedies
§ Temperature-sensitive products, including:
o Probiotics
o Refrigerated items
o Liquid supplements
o Oils (including fish oil and other omega oils)
These exclusions are standard across pharmacies and health retailers due to safety, stability, and quality concerns.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is:
§ Damaged in transit
§ Defective
§ Incorrectly shipped
Please notify us within 3–7 days of delivery, with photo documentation. Approved cases will be replaced or refunded without additional return shipping costs.
8. Side Effect & Adverse Reaction Reporting
If a return request is related to possible side effects, customers must complete a Side Effect Reporting Form before the request can be reviewed.
§ Approved cases may qualify for a refund to the original payment method (cash or original debit/credit card only), subject to review.
9. Manufacturer Warranties (Non-Supplement Items)
For non-supplement products, defects may be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty and are subject to repair or replacement according to manufacturer terms.
10. Policy Scope & Enforcement
This return policy applies to all purchases, whether made in store or online, and is enforced consistently.
Finlandia reserves the right to:
§ Limit, refuse, or deny returns that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy
§ Decline returns that show patterns of excessive, repetitive, or abusive behavior
§ Require additional verification or documentation before approving a return
All decisions are made in good faith and with consideration for health, safety, and regulatory responsibilities.
11. Additional Conditions & Clarifications
To ensure fairness, consistency, and product safety, the following conditions also apply:
§ No partial returns: Bundled products, kits, or multi-item promotions must be returned in full to be eligible.
§ No price adjustments: We do not offer price matching or retroactive price adjustments after purchase.
§ No cash refunds for card purchases: Refunds are issued to the original form of payment only.
§ Online order timing: For online purchases, the return window is based on the delivery date, not the order date.
§ Shipping & handling: Original shipping, handling, and service fees are non-refundable.
§ Force majeure & handling risk: Finlandia is not responsible for product degradation once items leave our control, including exposure to heat, cold, delays, or improper storage after delivery.
§ Fraud prevention: Finlandia reserves the right to refuse returns suspected to involve fraud, tampering, resale activity, or diversion.
§ Policy changes: This policy may be updated at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase applies.
12. Final Notes
Health products are fundamentally different from general retail goods. Once a product leaves our control—especially supplements, injectables, personal care items, or temperature-sensitive products—we can no longer guarantee its safety or integrity.
For this reason:
§ Change-of-mind returns are limited and conditional
§ Opened health products are final sale
§ Temperature-sensitive and personal care items are strictly non-returnable
