JOIN THE SCAVENGER HUNT THIS CANADA DAY!

Finlandia Pharmacy & Health Store is organizing a Scavenger Hunt, and everyone's invited! 

PRIZES:

The first three winning teams or individuals are entitled to the following prizes:

1st Place Prize: $1000 Finlandia Gift Certificate OR $500 Cash.

2nd Place Prize: $500 Finlandia Gift Certificate OR $250 Cash.

3rd Place Prize: $250 Finlandia Gift Certificate OR $125 Cash.

All other qualifying participants may receive various prizes yet to be determined.


HOW TO PLAY:

1.) On Canada Day, come on down to Finlandia Pharmacy & Health Store.

Orientation begins at 10:30am.

Scavenger Hunt begins at 11:00am Sharp; don't be late!

Scavenger Hunt ends at 5:00pm, don't be late!

2.) Follow the Rules and Clues on this page to complete the Scavenger Hunt.

3.) Once complete, return to Finlandia by 5:00pm to redeem for prizes. 


RULES:

1.) Sign our waiver! This waiver will be provided to you on Canada Day along with your Finlandia Canada Day Poster before the event begins. You can't redeem any prizes without first signing our waiver! 

2.) Follow the Clues below to locate our Finlandia Selfie Zones.

3.) Take a photo with your Finlandia Canada Day Poster at each of the six Finlandia Selfie Zones, post it to your Instagram Story, and tag us!

4.) Collect all six selfies and return to Finlandia by 5:00pm to claim your prize!

5.) When taking a selfie, make sure that we can see you, the whole poster, and the famous landmark identified by the clue. Like this:

1.) This inspiring young man embarked on an east-to-west cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research. Take a selfie with his statue and make certain the provided poster and all the words are clearly visible.

2.) This landmark is roughly 10 metres tall, with four slanted overlapping pillars measuring 16.5 metres, and was first lit-up in 2010. Take a selfie showing this iconic location anywhere behind you, and make certain the provided poster and all the words are clearly visible.

3.) This dome was designed, and built to serve as the transportation-themed 1986 World's Fair (Expo 86) Centre. Take a selfie showing this dome anywhere behind you, and make certain the provided poster and all the words are clearly visible.

4.) This building has the most stories in Vancouver, with a colonnaded surround reminiscent of the Roman amphitheater. You will be amazed by its wealth of knowledge. Take a selfie showing this building anywhere behind you and make certain the provided poster and all the words are clearly visible.

5.) This popular attraction showcases family lineage and cultural heritage of First Nations peoples. These artistic monuments were first installed in the 1920’s and have become a popular tourist destination that receives approx. 8 million visitors annually. 6.) This building provides one of the best views of the stars in Vancouver, and while its roof may look out of this world, it's design was in honour of the traditional cedar-woven hats of the Haida Nation.
