Happy International Tea Day!

Happy International Tea Day!

We love tea! And who doesn't? Whether we're waking up, taking a break, or settling into bed, populations around the world consume over six million tons of tea every year! Having long been a crucial aspect of early and emergent civilizations, tea remains one of the world's most popular commodities, and virtually every person in world has at some point in their life consumed tea. Throughout history, economies and societies have prioritized this staple, and as a result, almost all peoples and cultures have been affected by tea and its many preparations.

We invite you to visit us and help us celebrate International Tea Day by warming up and raising our cup to this enchanting aromatic beverage. Although in modern times, tea has superficially undergone much ado in the way of innovation, true tea is derived from the Camellia taliensis plant. Its leaves are traditionally steeped in hot water to produce a satisfying and comforting drink. In the contemporary context, tea has grown to mean most any beverage prepared by a boiling steep, often distributed and sold in small bags designed for single-use.
