Hair and Scalp provides broad-spectrum protection from hair loss and thinning for both women and men, with special nutraceuticals and critical B-complex vitamins that promote productive hair follicles and healthy hair.

 

Hair and Scalp is formulated with standardized extracts, amino acids, specialized nutraceuticals, and B-complex vitamins critical for stopping thinning hair and loss for both women and men.

The conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone is considered the major cause of male pattern baldness, and a contributing factor for thinning hair in women. Hair and Scalp contains therapeutic amounts of several ingredients that include saw palmetto extract, flax seed lignans, and pumpkin seed oil that block the enzyme responsible for DHT formation.

Silica-rich horsetail and wild fish oil favour hair growth with their positive effect on microcirculation that improves the delivery of nutrients to hair follicles. A comprehensive range of B-complex vitamins provide many benefits for healthy hair that include improved microcirculation; effective metabolism of proteins specific to the health of hair, skin, and nails; and improved overall bioavailability of the ingredients in Hair and Scalp.

Our Softgels

annatto seed extract

Our softgels have a deep red colour that comes from the annatto extract used in their making. Annatto extract is sourced from the seeds of the tropical fruit annatto (Bixa orellana L.). It has a long history of use and is a rich source of tocotrienols and potent antioxidants. Annatto extract also adds UV protection and stability to the contents of our softgels.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

Adults: Take 2 softgels daily with meals or as directed by your health-care practitioner.


Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 3 months.

Each softgel contains:
Certified organic pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo) seed oil 400 mg
ʟ-⁠Taurine (2-⁠aminoethanesulfonic acid) 240 mg
Wild-crafted saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) fruit liposterolic extract, 95% fatty acids (CO₂-extracted) 185 mg
Field horsetail (Equisetum arvense), 4.9 mg of silicon 150 mg
Certified organic evening primrose (Œnothera biennis) seed oil, 10% gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) 100 mg
Fish oil (omega-⁠3 from wild, deep-sea whole sardines [Sardina pilchardus] and whole anchovies [Engraulis encrasicolus]), 40% eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), 20% docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) 50 mg
Flax (Linum usitatissimum) seed extract, 40% secoisolariciresinol diglucoside 50 mg
Whole stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) extract 50 mg

Other ingredients: Beeswax, sunflower lecithin, dicalcium phosphate, and microcrystalline cellulose in a softgel composed of annatto extract (in sunflower oil), bovine gelatin, glycerin, and purified water.

WARNINGS

Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, or sugar.

Cautions and warnings: For adult use only. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder; or if you have an iron deficiency.

Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; or if you have cardiopathy, kidney disease, heart disease, or edema due to impaired heart or kidney function. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness, and/or loss of appetite. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract–containing products have been reported.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat and sunlight. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
